Review of mandatory cat microchipping and informed consent requirements
Review the current law for compulsory microchipping of cats in England. A review could consider introducing microchipping as optional, or setting clearer requirements to ensure cat owners are informed of recognised but rare risks, including the potential for injection-site sarcomas.
