For the past week or two the pedestrian crossing over farringdon road, between holborn viaduct and ludgate circus, has had someone turning the crosswalk light to face towards ludgate circus, away from the crossing (the little road up to shoe lane library) - as a result it is completely impossible to see if it is green or red from the island in the middle of the road when crossing.
