Require prisons to separate visiting children from all sex offenders
We want the Government to require prisons to run separate, safeguarded visiting sessions for prisoners convicted of sexual offences so that children visiting other prisoners are not exposed to them during visits.
Amend Prison Rules to give a statutory minimum of 2 hours daily out-of-cell time
Amend the Prison Rules to require that every prisoner is guaranteed a minimum of two hours out-of-cell time each day.
Fund accommodation for all prison leavers
We call on the Government to fund accommodation for everyone leaving prison so they are not released directly on to the streets and therefore put at a much greater risk of re offending.
Allow spouses to receive 3 years worth of their deceased partner’s state pension
