Fund free NHS dental care for people with epilepsy
We ask the Government to make NHS dental treatment free for people diagnosed with epilepsy
Fund free NHS dental treatment for injuries from domestic abuse or violence
The Government should provide dedicated funding and require the NHS to provide for free any dental treatment needed because of injuries caused by domestic abuse or violent assault, and issue clear national guidance stating that such injuries be recognised as medical and trauma-related, not cosmetic.
Fund the NHS to provide all services free at the point of use
We demand the Government to provide NHS funding to ensure all services are free to all and are based on clinical need rather than an individual’s ability to pay. We want the NHS to be free at the point of use for all for any medical, mental, age-related, optician and dental services.
Fund free oral health checks for people with diabetes as part of NHS care
We want the Government to integrate free, routine oral health checks for all diagnosed diabetes patients into NHS diabetes care pathways. This could be delivered through NHS dental services or commissioned screening programmes, with appropriate referral pathways for further treatment where required.
Fund free dental care for head & neck cancer patients
We want the Government to fund free dental care for head and neck cancer patients both during and after treatment to address the significant oral health challenges that survivors may face, and to improve their overall quality of life.
