Review the settlement and citizenship pathway for those born or raised in the UK from childhood. We believe many fall outside current routes due to law changes. The review should consider adding a new pathway resembling the Windrush scheme, giving rights to live, work, and contribute.

Scrap route to ILR for children born in the UK with 7 years continuous residence
We would like the government to scrap this route which gives parents the right to apply for residency for their child if born in the UK & remained for seven years. We are concerned this is a loophole for illegal migrants to stay in the UK even if their applications have been refused many times.
Maintain the current 5-year route to (ILR) for Senior Carers & Care Assistants
Please maintain the current 5-year route to Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) for Senior Carers, Care Assistants, and their dependents. Access to public funds can remain restricted until they obtain British citizenship
Keep 5 Year ILR route for people who came to UK in 2023 or later
The government should keep the 5 Year ILR route for those who have been in the UK since 2023 on any visa, such as Student, Skilled Worker or such.
Treat students without ILR as Home students after 3 years’ UK residence
Don't charge overseas fees for students who have lived in the UK over 3 years
Review Current Provision of Safe and Legal Routes for Asylum Seekers to the UK
We want a review of the current provision of safe and legal routes for asylum seekers to enter the UK. This should consider: a) a humanitarian visa to enable people to apply from overseas rather than having to cross the Channel on small boats. b) an expansion of the resettlement scheme.
