I feel the law needs to be changed regarding the purchase of knives. I believe that when purchasing a knife, photo ID should be held on record and finger prints taken, to reduce the lives lost to knife crime.

We want the Government to introduce serial numbers on all knives, require ID checks for every purchase, create a national knife-licence system, record all knife sales, raise the legal age to buy any knife to 21 to reduce knife crime

We've a knife crime epidemic with too many people carrying knives in public; As a serving police officer I tackled many offenders carrying a knife & once almost lost my life when stabbed in chest arresting a burglar; too many parents are planning funerals instead of bright futures for their children
Increase minimum sentences for knife crimes including possession and use
We would like the law changed and stiffer min sentences given out for knife crime: - 5 years in prison for being in possession of a knife. - 10 years in prison for using a knife to causing harm to a person. - 25 years for taking a life with a knife.
