Autism & ADHD Screening Mandatory for Women Before Diagnosis of Mood Disorders
Require Autism and ADHD screening for women before mood disorder diagnoses. Introduce neurodivergence-informed pathways, ensure clinicians are trained in how Autism and ADHD present in women, and improve diagnostic accuracy to reduce harm, stigma, and incorrect labels.
Stop mental health, ADHD & autism services review. Adopt report recommendations
Scrap the review into rising demand for Mental Health, ADHD & Autism services. Instead fund & implement the recommendations of the 'Time to Deliver' (Autism Act Committee) & ADHD Taskforce Part 2 reports. This would help end systemic failure, poor health outcomes, & inequality in Autism & ADHD care.
