In 2000 fuel duty on petrol was 49p/litre. Since then, it has not risen with inflation, and currently sits at 53p/litre. We believe raising the duty to 93p/litre would raise significant revenue for the Treasury.

The Personal Allowance is the amount of income a person can get before they pay income tax. It stands at £12,570 in 2025. We would like the standard Personal Allowance raised to what we think is a more realistic figure of £45,00.

Scrap the Pub Code 2016 and amend the Competition Act 1998 to ban tied beer lines, giving pub tenants the right to buy and sell freely from any brewery, especially from independent and local UK producers.
