Count all accrued residence under the Long Residence route toward the new system
Provide transitional protection to migrants (who arrived pre-2021) and are nearing settlement via the current 10-year route by recognising all previously accrued continuous lawful residence counted under Appendix Long Residence toward the 10-year qualifying period of the new Earned Settlement system
