Introduce law to have baby changing stations in men’s bathrooms and facilities
Many single parents do not have access to changing stations for their children in their facilities. I think the government should mandate these around the country for accessibility and inclusion for all fathers with young children, especially those who are single parents.
Require sanitary waste bins in all toilets regardless of gender
Change UK law to make it a legal requirement for businesses, public places and all social places with female, MALE and unisex restrooms to provide a safe and hygienic means for the disposal of sanitary waste to prevent environmental harm and maintain public health and hygiene standards.
Update building regulations to require more women’s toilets in public buildings.
Update building regulations to require more women’s toilet facilities in public buildings, taking into account longer usage times, children accompanying mothers, and delays caused for others waiting. Apply updated standards to new buildings and major refurbishments.
Provide funding to make 25% of all public loos stoma friendly
Set aside funds for local councils to make 25% of all public loos stoma friendly to create a safe space for ostomates to manage their bags. Needs to include a narrow-shelf, and hooks to hang stuff on.
Require disabled toilets to have a fold down shelf for stoma users
There are often no facilities for stoma users in disabled toilets. Leaving us using the floor or the top of toilet seats for our appliances. This is not sanitary. I would like a legal requirement of a fold down shelf. This allows the shelf to be folded up so there is no impact on wheelchair users.
