Introduce UK Safe Haven Laws & fund baby boxes

National
·45 reactions·100% agree

Pass UK Safe Haven laws and fund the provision of baby boxes to protect abandoned babies. Every week, a baby is left vulnerable. We urge the Government to introduce these compassionate laws to provide a safe space for desperate parents to surrender their baby, ensuring care and support.

Introduce law to have baby changing stations in men’s bathrooms and facilities

Many single parents do not have access to changing stations for their children in their facilities. I think the government should mandate these around the country for accessibility and inclusion for all fathers with young children, especially those who are single parents.

Deport asylum seekers from safe countries & review current asylum seekers

We urge the Government to update migration laws so asylum seekers who arrive from a designated safe country are automatically refused and deported to the designated safe country they travelled from.

Review Current Provision of Safe and Legal Routes for Asylum Seekers to the UK

We want a review of the current provision of safe and legal routes for asylum seekers to enter the UK. This should consider: a) a humanitarian visa to enable people to apply from overseas rather than having to cross the Channel on small boats. b) an expansion of the resettlement scheme.

End the UK's asylum system & right to asylum, use resources for border security

We want the Government to legislate to end the UK asylum system. Remove the right to claim asylum in the UK, withdrawing from treaties that compel us to take asylum seekers, and closing all asylum centres. Resources should go to border security and swift deportation of those who arrive illegally.

Give British homeless same legal protection from destitution as asylum seekers

Give homeless UK citizens, including veterans, the same legal right to housing and financial support as asylum seekers. No one should be left destitute in their own country. Legal protections would help vulnerable citizens rebuild their lives with dignity.
