To enable children to spend time away from school with family. These could be for day trips, holidays that are affordable or just to reinforce the love and care that children need from their guardians, as we believe families are crucial to a functioning society and supporting those bonds is key.

Mandate seven-hour days Monday to Thursday in schools for shorter Fridays

We ask the Government to require all schools to have seven-hour days Monday to Thursday, while Fridays are reduced to 4.5 hours. This would preserve the total learning time required for education while allowing students a shorter end to the week.
