We feel the Highway Code updates don’t go far enough for vulnerable road users. We believe the 2-metre distance when passing cyclists, horse riders or carriage drivers cannot be proven. We also feel the police do not enforce the code and we are not taken seriously enough when reporting incidents.

Driver safety education needed on Highway Code
A post discusses the distinction between safe, responsible driving that follows the Highway Code and nervous driving. It addresses pressure from other drivers to exceed speed limits and the importance of lawful driving practices.
Fund awareness campaigns on rape & sexual assault law for adults over 30
Fund national awareness campaigns to educate adults over 30 about rape, consent and sexual assault law so survivors can recognise crimes and seek support.
Reinstate the 'Charley Says' public information adverts to protect children
We ask the Government to reinstate the classic 'Charley Says' public information ads on television and online, featuring Charley the cat. Remove speed cameras from motorways to improve safety and fairness
We want the Government to remove speed cameras from motorways in England. There is strong evidence that they distract drivers, cause sudden braking and confusion when limits change, and increase accident risk. The focus should be on education and clear, consistent speed limits instead.
