All newly elected MPs must complete a six month probationary period

National
·112 reactions·100% agree

All newly elected MPs should complete a six month probation. Unlike many other jobs, they can get a full term with what we feel is limited accountability. An independent panel should review performance, and MPs deemed unsuitable should face removal. We think this would help ensure MPs honour pledges
