Launch a review of the UK’s construction industry, including the work environment, wages and recruitment, and legislation that could protect earnings that may be lost as a result of weather conditions, along with any money owed.
Launch a review of UK fishing laws
We urge the Government to launch a review of fishing laws, which looks into giving UK boats and anglers fair access, restricting foreign super-trawlers and fish stock management. We believe protecting our waters, rebuilding fish populations, and supporting coastal communities should be the priority.
Reopen British oil and gas fields using taxpayer funds for UK use only
We think Britain has huge gas and oil resources that we are not utilising. We have very low storage capacity for those we import.
Ban UK companies shipping and insuring all Russian Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG)
Russia is helping finance its illegal invasion of Ukraine by oil and gas exports, including LNG. The UK sanctions all imports of Russian oil and gas. It also sanctions the shipping and insurance of Russian oil sold above a cap. It must now sanction the shipping and insurance of all Russian LNG.
