Amend the Access to Health Records Act 1990 so that the next of kin named on the death certificate has the legal right to access the deceased person’s full medical records, without needing to be the executor, administrator of the estate, or prove a legal claim. Families deserve peace of mind.
Allow UK nationals living abroad to donate organs in the UK
Current UK organ-donation policy excludes British nationals who live abroad but die in the UK, even when they have indicated clear consent to donate. The residency restriction means willing donors are excluded, resulting in missed opportunities to save lives.
