I would like the Government to supply gluten free food/ration packs for people with coeliac disease so that people with the disease can join the armed forces.

Fund vouchers for people with coeliac disease
We urge the government to fund vouchers for those who are medically diagnosed with coeliac disease.
Uni Students with Coeliac Disease to be eligible for enhanced bursary
The government should fund and provide for uni students with coeliac to be granted a higher student living bursary than those without coeliac disease, due to the expenses of gluten-free food.
Diabetes should not prevent someone serving in the British armed forces
Diabetics should be able to join the military due to the modern technological advances that occur everyday. Managing the condition is second nature to most diabetics therefore I believe it should not be considered a risk as those who are insulin dependent know how to handle it and live with it.
Require food labelled as gluten-free on menus to be cross-contamination free
Restaurants can label food as “gluten-free” on menus even if cooked where cross-contamination occurs, making it unsafe for people with coeliac disease or gluten intolerance. We ask the Government to strengthen the law so that gluten-free food must be prepared to avoid cross-contamination.
