Review support for FND sufferers and waiting times for treatment
I am a Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) sufferer and have been since 2023, however there are people that have suffered far longer than me, and we all feel as if there is absolutely no support from the NHS unless you push for it, and travel miles to find it. It is simply not good enough.
Fund NHS access to Tofersen for all people with SOD-1 Motor Neuron Disease
We call on the Government to fund universal, NHS access to the life-extending medication Tofersen for all people who have been diagnosed with SOD-1 Motor Neuron Disease.
Fund more reasonable adjustments in NHS primary care for autistic people
We want the Government to provide funding to strengthen and enforce more reasonable adjustments in NHS primary care. This could include flexible appointments, longer consultations, quieter options, remote consultations, and home visits where surgery attendance is not possible.
Fund an NHS fast-track route for ADHD & autism diagnoses and treatment
We urge the Government to fund a fast-track route in the NHS for ADHD and autism diagnoses and treatment, to ensure urgent access to care, regardless of whether diagnosed privately or publicly. We believe no one should face delays, gaps in medication, or be denied essential support.
Require NHS to start priority triage & discharge pathways for dementia patients
Make NHS hospitals implement priority triage and faster discharge pathways for people with dementia when the medical condition is treated & home or community care is available. Formally recognise that delay in discharge can cause rapid deterioration and should be treated as a clinical risk.
