Hold public inquiry on safeguarding system and training in family courts

National
·1,352 reactions·100% agree

We want a public inquiry into accountability, what we see as systemic failings and bias, and effects of current procedures on child and family welfare.

Require family court to refer findings of abuse & coercive control to the police

Reform CMS by calculating maintenance using net income, tax maintenance as income for the receiving parent, allowing reductions for denied contact, mandatory auditable arrears explanations, cease liability at 16, ensure due process before deductions, prosecute false declarations by either parent.

I want the Government to review and strengthen DBS checks. Implement national pattern-recognition, improve cross-agency information sharing, create lifetime safeguarding records and automatic alerts to avoid missing repeated allegations or risks when people work with children or vulnerable adults.
