Remove taxes on personal savings & private pensions
We the people call on the government to remove the tax paid on personal savings & private pensions.
Remove religion and belief from the Equality Act 2010
Remove religion from the Equality Act. Religion consists of fundamental beliefs. Fundamental beliefs should not be protected under law from discrimination because we think this hinders the rights of others. We think many religious texts encourage illegal behaviours, such as inciting violence.
Abolish the effective Tax rate of 60% on income between £100,000 and £125,140
We want the Government to abolish the effective Tax rate of 60% on income between £100,000 and £125,140, replacing it with a Tax band of 45% on income over £100,000 and removing the tapered withdrawal of Personal Allowance.
Remove all benefits for those guilty of supporting proscribed terrorist groups.
Any individuals found guilty of belonging to or supporting a proscribed terror group should lose any entitlement to state benefits.
Exempt all pensioners from council tax
We call on Parliament to pass a law which exempts all pensioners in Britain from paying Council Tax. Current provisions only ensure that pensioners on the lowest incomes receive full relief, yet many others, particularly those on modest but above-threshold pensions, still pay this tax.
