These terms apply when you use State as a citizen, elected representative, candidate, organisation, or visitor. State is operated by Collective Thinking Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales.

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account or verifying your representative access.
• You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for activity that happens through your account.
• You must not impersonate another person, representative, organisation, or public body.
• You must not attempt to disrupt, scrape, reverse engineer, or misuse the platform.

You keep ownership of the motions, reasons, statements, profile information, and other content you submit. By posting content on State, you give us permission to host, display, analyse, summarise, and share it as needed to operate the platform and show public opinion to relevant decision-makers.

• Do not post illegal, threatening, hateful, defamatory, or deliberately misleading content.
• Do not publish private personal information about someone else without a lawful basis.
• We may remove content, limit distribution, or suspend accounts where we believe these terms or the law have been breached.

Representative tools are for verified representatives and authorised staff. You must only use representative access for legitimate civic, parliamentary, campaign, or constituent-service purposes.

The Oracle uses AI to help people understand political information and navigate State. Responses may be incomplete or wrong, and should not be treated as legal, financial, medical, or professional advice.

We may update State, add or remove features, change these terms, or pause parts of the service. If we make material changes to these terms, we will update the date on this page and may notify users in the product or by email.
