Anne Cullen

Labour candidate for Cropredy, Sibfords and Wroxton

Labour

My name is Anne Cullen and I am hoping to become your Labour and Cooperative Party Councillor for Calthorpe and Easington. I have lived in this area for the last 37 years. I am a registered social worker and I worked for Oxfordshire County Council Social Services serving children, young people and families in Banbury and the surrounding area. Later I worked in a large hospice providing care for dying people and their families. Nowadays I work part time supporting staff who work in the NHS, social care and hospices. I also work on voluntary basis to improve care for dying people who are homeless or living in poverty. My professional career has been about service and I believe this experience has equipped me well to become an effective and committed councillor. Outside of work my husband and I love being busy grandparents and this is one of many reasons why I want to be part of building a better future for people of all ages in this area, including affordable housing and better transport, ending fuel poverty and protecting the environment.
