Dear Resident, I am your British Democrats candidate standing in Castledon and Crouch ward for the Basildon Borough Council elections. As a local volunteer on Noak Bridge Parish Council and long-term resident of our area, I care deeply about our community. If elected, I will listen to your concerns and work hard every day to solve local problems. I’m ready to be a strong voice for my neighbours and deliver the results our ward deserves. I am the only candidate campaigning against the abolition of Basildon Council and our distinct local identity. While other parties support merging Basildon into a Unitary Authority with neighbouring councils, I will fight to keep our council independent and as local as possible. I have positive pledges for our ward: Protect our green spaces from unnecessary overdevelopment Work to increase access for primary healthcare, ensuring more doctors and dental appointments are made available Put local residents first for housing Reduce Council Tax; make efficiency savings Tackle Crime & Anti-Social Behaviour Better Support for Veterans & elderly residents Save Basildon Council: Demand a local referendum on the future unitary authority. I advocate for positive local policies that truly work for local people. Whilst the other candidates represent their own interests and ends; I will serve the interests of the people and needs of the local residents.
