In Joe's own words

I'm a father of two and I moved to Battersea six years ago. What I want more than anything is for my children to be able to grow old on a peaceful, liveable planet. Neither Keir Starmer or Rishi Sunak will deliver that. That's why I’m running in the general election for the Green Party.

We need a World War II-sized mobilisation to change our entire society. Here in Battersea we should be preparing for floods, extreme heat, extreme storms and food shortages.

Of course I would welcome your vote but that’s not enough - especially in a seat like Battersea which is projected to be safe Labour this time around.

Our politicians have failed in their most fundamental duty - to keep us and our children safe.

Our political system has failed to deal with this crisis.

So what now?

I'm urging all Battersea residents to get involved in a new Battersea Popular Assembly. We, the people of Battersea, need to come together, get to know each other, organise and prepare for the challenges ahead. I support the Green Party’s manifesto, but if elected, I will also work to bring about the decisions of the assembly.
