In Francesco's own words

I have lived in Bermondsey Spa for over ten years now and have been an active member of the community throughout this time, from delivering food during the Covid pandemic, to running the Bermondsey Spa Residents Association for four years, and now managing my 120-unit block.

I love Bermondsey - its many green areas, quiet walks, diverse culture, wonderful sites and amazing food options. But from personal experience as well as from talking to many residents, I am acutely aware of the severe housing problems that far too many people face, no matter whether they are Council tenants or private leaseholders. Improving housing conditions for the residents of Bermondsey by holding landlords and developers accountable for their actions, is the main reason why I decided to stand for councillor with the Liberal Democrats.

On a more personal note, I pursue many hobbies, from cycling to running, chess and photography amongst others, and am a big nature and animal lover.
