In Hasnain's own words

I was born in Birmingham and raised in Edgbaston, and my experiences at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham inspired me to pursue a career in medicine. At medical school, I led one of the largest volunteering efforts during the pandemic, supporting hospitals, GP practices, hospices and NHS staff across the region. I was honored to be awarded a British Empire Medal (BEM) in HM The Queen’s Birthday Honours for services to healthcare. I am currently working as an A&E junior doctor in the West Midlands. I’m standing because public service has always been central to who I am - I care deeply about helping people and want to serve our community as a strong, accessible voice.
