In Stewart's own words

I’m **Stewart Holroyd**, and I am standing to be your local Labour councillor for Weoley and Selly Oak.

I work as a caseworker, helping residents deal with real-life council issues, from **planning applications**, to securing the right **SEND support**, to resolving long‑running **housing problems**.

I am standing because I want to put my knowledge and experience to work for our community, and help people where I live.

My priorities for Weoley and Selly Oak are:

- **Ending the bin strike** by pushing for a fair and lasting resolution. It has gone on for far too long. Residents are fed up, and they deserve a reliable service.

- **Cleaning up fly‑tipping** so our streets and green spaces are safe, tidy, and somewhere people can take pride in.

- **Fixing pothole‑ridden roads** to make our streets safer for drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians alike.

I am standing alongside **Dr Kiran Gulia**. Together, we are a strong local team focused on getting things done.
