Joe Peacock

I have lived in Billesley since 2013 and in Birmingham since 2005. I have brought up my family here and feel deeply connected to the city. For the past 17 years, I have been working in the charity sector, raising money for people to have better health, standing up for their rights and ensuring money is invested to protect and improve community facilities. I have also worked in education and have volunteered for local groups to make a difference to my local area. As a councillor, I will represent the area in which I live to improve it for all residents. As Deputy Cabinet Member for City Services and Digital, I pledge to work hard for the city to restore trust that we can have a functioning waste system and then improve it to be one of the best in the country. I want to ensure we have a city we can all be proud of once again.
