Jeanette lives in Bradford East with her husband Andrew. She currently works in training and development in the public sector. Jeanette has a first class honours degree in Social Psychology. Jeanette is a Trustee of a Youth Centre on Thorpe Edge and is part of a group organising fund-raising events to support the Marie Curie Hospice in Bradford. Jeanette has a strong record of community action. She is a Councillor representing Idle and Thackley ward. Jeanette is a passionate advocate for ensuring that every child can get on in life. Over the past few years, she has volunteered at a Summer Camp for children making the transition from primary to secondary school. Jeanette has raised almost a quarter of a million pounds to ensure the project continues for the next three years. Jeanette is currently campaigning to see the remaining green spaces around Eccleshill, Esholt, Thackley and Apperley Bridge owned by the Council and Yorkshire Water turned into a Country Park, ensuring the future of our woodlands for the benefit of people and the environment.
