Stonebridge has been my home for a number of years, and it is a privilege to serve the community where I live. I believe the best ideas come from residents, and I look forward to continuing to listen, work alongside you and help turn those ideas into action. Please keep in touch. Together, we can continue to build a cleaner, safer and stronger Stonebridge. I am passionate about bringing people together to create stronger, more connected communities. Through my work as CEO of Edmonton Community Partnership, I have dedicated my career to developing initiatives that improve lives, create opportunities and empower people of all ages. I believe lasting change is achieved through collaboration. By working alongside schools, local authorities, charities, businesses and community organisations, I strive to deliver practical projects that make a real difference. My focus is on reducing inequalities, promoting inclusion and ensuring that everyone has access to the support and opportunities they need to thrive. Over the years, I have led and supported a wide range of community initiatives, including education programmes, digital inclusion projects, health and wellbeing activities, youth engagement and employability support. Every project is driven by the belief that investing in people and communities creates lasting social impact. As a Stonebridge Ward Councillor, I want to build on this experience by listening to residents, understanding the issues that matter most locally and working with partners to deliver meaningful solutions. My goal is to continue building strong partnerships, creating opportunities and supporting initiatives that make Stonebridge a place where residents feel heard, included and proud to call home.

Where Trevor fits into things

About the role

Politics is about people. My role as a councillor is to listen, act and bring people together hearing the issues residents face and turning them into practical action that improves everyday lives. For more than 20 years, I have worked across London in youth development, community regeneration, health, education and tackling inequality. As CEO of Edmonton Community Partnership and Founder of Ape Media, I have worked alongside residents, schools, charities, the NHS, local authorities and businesses to develop practical solutions that strengthen communities and improve life chances. As one of your Stonebridge Ward Councillors, my priority is to ensure every resident has a voice and that no one in our community is left behind. Whether it is supporting families with housing concerns, improving our local environment, creating opportunities for young people or helping local organisations grow, I believe lasting change happens when residents, businesses and public services work together.

What Trevor's actively working on locally

A stronger youth offer for Stonebridge and Brent

I am campaigning for a stronger, joined-up Youth Opportunity Guarantee so that where a young person lives does not determine the opportunities available to them. I want Brent Council, neighbouring Ealing Council, schools, colleges, businesses and community organisations to work together to create clearer pathways into work experience, apprenticeships, training, employment and enterprise. That means listening directly to young people and working with local organisations and resident groups, including those around Telford Road and the wider Stonebridge area, to understand what is missing and what young people actually need. My focus is not simply more youth activities. It is about creating a pathway from school → skills → experience → employment and opportunity, while raising aspirations and ensuring young people can access opportunities across borough boundaries. That also fits with what you are already publicly saying about getting businesses and education working together and starting earlier with work experience, apprenticeships, training and jobs.

Making Pride in Place deliver for local people

As a Stonebridge councillor, another major priority is supporting the development of St Raphael’s Pride in Place and making sure residents genuinely help shape what happens next. For me, this is about more than investment in buildings and physical improvements. It is an opportunity to connect young people, employment and skills, community organisations, local businesses and residents to the long-term future of the neighbourhood. I want to help ensure that local people are listened to, local skills and organisations are used wherever possible, and investment creates opportunities that remain within the community. My role is to work alongside residents, fellow councillors, community leaders and partners to help turn the opportunity into visible, lasting change for St Raphael’s and the wider Stonebridge community.
