In Julie's own words

Julie Ireland is proud to be standing to represent Bromley & Biggin Hill in the 2024 General Election. She has lived in Bromley for over 30 years and raised her two children here. Elected as a councillor for Bromley Town in 2022, Julie is well known locally as a strong voice for the community, leading campaigns for improved air quality, safer roads, affordable housing and making sure that people without online access are not excluded from public services.

Nationally Julie is deeply concerned by the state of our public services. After recently experiencing a serious health scare, she witnessed first-hand the very real strain on A&E departments as well as the dedication of the NHS staff who treated her. She is passionate about improving healthcare and making sure that everyone has access to the high quality treatment they deserve.

Julie cares deeply about the local community and would seek to give voice to those who may otherwise struggle to be heard. As a Liberal Democrat she is campaigning for a fair deal to empower communities and put residents first.
