In Mark's own words

I'm Mark and I'm proud to be a resident of the Borough since the age of two weeks. I went to St Paul's, Haslewood (until they merged into st caths) and John Warner. Learnt to swim at the old lido. Had my first paying job here at Pindar road and despite the millennial "difficulty mode" at life I'm also a proud homeowner in hoddesdon.

I've been involved with the community as a teenager since my time with East Herts Scout with events such as the deconsfield fate, and in recent years the local Conservative party which I do believe wholeheartedly has been fantastic for the Borough despite the parliamentary picture in the last few years. As someone who has benefited from the local services (especially the local SEND provision) my main mission is to give back to the community.

There's the "why", now the "How"! The mission is simple, low taxes and good services. The council has maintained one of the lowest borough council tax in the country (only a extra 10p a week for Band D properties this year) whilst keeping to the biweekly bin collection routine, regular gardening of public spaces (there has been comments on this in my canvassing sessions, has not been forgotten!), local council owned leisure faculties such as John Warner and Laura Trott sports centres and events like rock around the clock in hoddesdon. We want to continue on this route and where there's issues, your councillors will always hear you and have your back.

If you have any concerns please get in touch, as campaigning season is getting into full swing I'm out most afternoon delivering materials in the ward so if you see me feel welcome to say hi and have a chat!
