In Ray's own words

Here's my election points for Bletchley and Buckingham . We need regeneration of housing estates and high streets. Small and medium businesses need tax breaks and help. Vital voluntary services need funding not scrapping. Mental health , care in the community and homecare services need to be a priority. In this case both Milton Keynes and Buckinghamshire councils need to be more proactive and transparent with regards to all consultation and decisions. Planning departments need to make sure infrastructure is in place while houses and flats are being built . Social services both children's and adult need to be more clear and concise with advocates and appropriate adults when dealing with the vulnerable. Roads need to be kept and not left to rack and ruin . Police and crime commissioner needs to be more open and proactive with all elected officials and again , open consultation. Stop and search needs to be a normal thing . All crime needs to be investigated . With a budget of over £850 million it needs to in invested into more police on the beat . Council needs to go back to employing a DLBO rather than contractors. GP surgeries need to have a liason for proper communication with their patients. Social housing has to become a priority, that includes a major slowdown of evictions by private landlords regardless . Schools need to be able to provide more one to one for SEN children and teenagers . Wheelchair and and disabled housing needs to be doubled . And the MP'S need to be able to have much more influence within the council and their decision making . Salaries for CEO's need to be capped , earning more than the prime minister is outrageous. Council staff in every department need to have at least 3 - 5 years experience . Council offices are a public building , they need to be accessible to the public . A second hospital has been spoken about for years , it needs to be built. Immigration has to kirbed . Manufacturing has to be stepped up . Education system has to change , it needs to be 3 tier , O level , GCSE , vocational , children need to be allowed to flourish, not to ne allowed to wallow in a lack and despair. Because of the cost of living crisis , things have to be put in place so that children get at least 1 proper during school holidays . Public transport services in MK need to be correct , MK Connect is a terrible service , it would work , if run and organised properly . Pensioners and the vulnerable and needy and children have to be a priority . Anything else anyone can think of , let me know.
