In Jack's own words

I've lived in Bury since I was born, at Fairfield Hospital in 1999, and I went to school first at Holcombe Brook Primary School, then Woodhey High School and college at Holy Cross in Bury. Whilst many of my friends chose to go to university to study further, I chose to apply for an apprenticeship, and have been lucky to work for two Top 50 law firms whilst I worked and studied for my qualification.

This means I've been able to stay in the area my whole life, and I am very happy to call it home. I'm proud of where we live, and have for years enjoyed walking on the Kirklees Trail and in Burrs Country Park. There is nothing more rewarding than looking after our area and I have been pleased to do many litterpicks and work with local community groups to help. By going one step further and standing as a candidate, I am hoping that I will now have the chance to give more back to Bury, to Elton and to you.
