In Alex's own words

I originally moved to Cambridge to study psychology and quickly grew to love this city and community. Now, as your Green Party candidate for Castle ward, I am campaigning for social and environmental justice.

Cambridge is a city of incredible resources and affluence, but remains one of the most unequal cities in the UK. We need to work harder to ensure that everyone in our community benefits from that success. Bridging the “town and gown” divide by breaking down barriers between the university and local residents will lead to a more united and fairer Cambridge. I am also dedicated to protecting our vital green spaces in Castle and across Cambridge. These areas are the lifeblood of our local community and must be protected as such.
