In Luke's own words

Luke first moved to Cambridge for university after growing up in Northern Ireland.

He returned to the city after a year working in Brussels, and decided to make Castle his home on Windsor Road.

In Northern Ireland, Luke was involved in campaigns to improve young people’s mental health, mitigate the impact of Brexit, and build a shared community.

Luke works in Cambridge University supporting young people from under- privileged backgrounds to access higher education.

Luke also volunteers with a local scout group, enabling young people to gain skills for life. From working in Brussels on UK-EU affairs, Luke knows the harm Brexit has done, and is a tireless advocate for rejoining the EU.

Luke loves the green spaces of Castle and our vibrant community. You’ll often spot him at ParkRun at Eddington Lake or catching up with friends at the Castle Inn.

As a local resident, Luke is delighted to be standing up for his neighbours in Castle Ward as the Lib Dem candidate in May’s election.
