In Ray's own words

Ray Burnet is involved with many local charities, raising substantial funds for Maggie's at Charing Cross Hospital, local homeless, and the Shooting Star care for terminally ill children. Ray joined the Liberal Democrats after last year's referendum. "On local issues, it is clear to me that the ward is not being looked after by the Labour controlled Borough in terms of broken promises to its elderly. Labour have not replaced the Sands End Community Centre which was sold off to private developers. The nearest Police Station is now in Hammersmith, after Fulham Police Station has been handed over to a Free School! Free crèche facilities have been lost too. I will fight on behalf of the ward’s residents to reverse this disgraceful state of affairs and to make the area safer and more fun, building on initiatives like the new beach in place of the smelly, noisy car auction.
