In Jake's own words

**About Jake Smith**

I am a charity worker with experience working for organisations supporting people with cancer, people experiencing homelessness, refugees, and the Armed Forces community.

I first moved to Waltham Forest in 2019 and have since put down firm roots here with my partner. I deeply care about building a fair and just society that works for everyone. I joined the Green Party because they are the only party offering real solutions to the cost-of-living crisis and climate crisis.

**What Jake Stands For**

I am standing for election because I want to make Waltham Forest a fairer, safer, greener place to live. I will work to make the council accountable to local residents and make sure decisions are made for benefit our community.

I will push to make our neighbourhoods a better place to live with a prevention first approach to anti-social behaviour such as fly tipping and greater enforcement for violators.
