In Lisa's own words

I was born in London and have spent much of my life serving the Barnet community.

My professional career has been in banking and litigation, giving me experience in dealing with complex issues and standing up for people when it matters most.

I served as councillor for Brunswick Park Ward for 16 years from 2006 and was honoured to be elected Mayor of Barnet in 2012. During my time in office, I successfully campaigned for the extension of the 383 bus route to Finchley Memorial Hospital, improving access for patients and residents.

I also helped create the Essential Care Giver policy through Parliament to support people living with dementia. I founded the charity Dementia Club UK, which supports people living with dementia and their families across the community.

I am known for being reliable, determined and never afraid to stand up for residents.
