In Rick's own words

With over 30 years' service as a Metropolitan Police Officer, Richard held senior Federation roles in armed policing, counter-terrorism and was the Federation Lead for Royalty & Specialist Protection,

In 2024 he was voted for by his peers to become the Chair of the Metropolitan Police Federation, representing over 30,000 Metropolitan Police Officers, and was widely respected for his fearless representation, never hesitating to challenge wrongdoing or speak truth to power. He is passionate about restoring law & order, and tackling crime blighting London's streets, where offenders too often act with impunity.

A long term local resident, Richard has served his community through voluntary roles for over 20 years. He brings unmatched frontline experience and leadership to local government and is ready to make a real difference in Barnet.
