In Hannah's own words

The people of Westminster deserve the best from their council. Safe streets, clean neighbourhoods, a transport network that serves everyone, and public spaces that make Westminster one of the finest cities in the world.

However, when we talk to residents across Abbey Road ward, the same concerns come up time and again. Residents tell us that the streets are not as clean as they used to be, with persistent fly-tipping around communal waste areas like on Aberdeen Place and Boundary Road. Last autumn, leaves were left piling up on streets for days at a time, causing slip hazards for many of our elderly residents – especially on Loudon Road. Anti-social behaviour and noise complaints are often ignored by the council, for many weeks in some cases. The escalator in St John’s Wood tube has been out of action since early December.

And in November, over 1,000 local people signed our petition opposing the designs Labour have put forward for the C51 cycle highway which will run along Hamilton Terrace. Despite this overwhelming local opposition, the Labour administration intend to push ahead. A Conservative administration would scrap this costly scheme immediately, saving 130 parking spaces and much-needed EV charging points while preserving this beautiful tree-lined road.

It is clear that Labour are not listening to local people and this must change.

Our plan for Abbey Road is built around what residents have told us matters most to them: safe streets with visible enforcement, clean and well-maintained public spaces, and every pound of council tax spent on the services that matter. No more waste, no more vanity projects, no more reckless spending.

On Thursday 7th May, you have the chance to vote for real change in Westminster. We are asking for your trust and your vote to deliver the city you deserve.
