Ben Kind

Ben was born in Streatham and now lives in Brixton Rush Common ward with his family. As Lambeth's cabinet Member for Children, Young People and Families, he leads Labour's work to make Lambeth the best place for young people to grow up-expanding breakfast clubs, strengthening children's services and increasing investment in SEND places in Lambeth schools by €10 million. Locally, Ben campaigns with residents on issues such as road safety, housing and enhancing community spaces like Elm Pare and Tulse Hill Adventure Playground. Residents often meet him at regular police and neighbourhood meetings where he works with them to get problems fixed and improvements delivered.
