“Born in Lindley at Huddersfield Royal Infimary. Brought up in Oakes and lived Locally in Marsh for over 30 years. Went to Lindley Infants School, Lindley Junior School and Salendine Nook High School. Played for YMCA for 10 Years, played for Marsh Liberal Football Team for years, coached Lindley Collegians and Former Chairman of Friends of Greenhead Park.”
