In Tahira's own words

Tahira is passionate about helping people and doing what she can to help make a difference to the town, having previously served Crawley as a councillor and Deputy Mayor.

She has lived in Crawley for almost her entire life, working in the town and raising her family here.

Tahira understands the problems facing many families in Langley Green and Tushmore right now due to COVID, having previously lost a job due to cuts at the airport. Since then she has played a role helping to end the pandemic, working for the NHS on tracking and tracing.
