In Paul's own words

I'm standing because I am angry with the way both Labour and the Conservatives have squandered the chance to improve the lives of Croydon residents on failed projects that have left the town bankrupt. Croydon has so much potential, but it is being held back by clueless politicians and corporate interests who only want to make a quick profit.

My experience as a senior councillor in another authority and as a senior manager in the public sector has convinced me that it does not have to be this way. We can rebuild our communities by working together, putting residents at the heart of decisions, and making council spending accountable to you.
