Rob Baker

Havering Residents Association candidate for Beam Park

Havering Residents Association

I moved to Havering as a 9-year-old from North Woolwich. I grew up in Collier Row and have lived in Rainham for more than 25 years. I am a scuba diving instructor who is in their element being under the ocean. I am a proud dad and grandad. Spending time with my grandsons reminds me how important it is to protect the values that make a great community...Respect, Pride, Manners, listening and looking out for each other. I am not afraid of rolling up my sleeves and helping where I can. Over the years I have Volunteered for foodbanks, homeless shelter and community litter picking also fundraising for Easter eggs and christmas gifts for children in need. I was one of the organisers of the Rainham Village Remembrance Day Parade, also the much Loved Rainham Community Christmas Lights Switch on. I Am Not A Career Politician Like many residents, see the impact that lack of government funding has had on our council and local services. Too often national parties create division when what we really need is people working together to improve where we all live. Vote for a H.R.A resident who can see the issues, not a national party who creates them
