I have been a councillor for Coldharbour, and previously Angell Ward, since 1998. It was a great honour to become Mayor of Lambeth in 2015, after being Deputy Mayor in 2014. I have held several Cabinet roles, including Housing, Adult Social Care and Health, Community Safety and Partnerships. I currently lead on the Voluntary and Community Sector, Leisure and Sports. As well as being a councillor, I have been a senior manager of several third sector organisations, including a national HIV charity.
