In Alex's own words

I’ve lived in Ealing for over 20 years and always taken a keen interest in the community. I served as a school governor for 8 years, where as Chair of Resources I helped keep the school budget balanced and ensure that we provided the children with excellent teaching and support. I was also a trustee and Treasurer of the school PTA, a reading support volunteer, and over Covid was a volunteer in a local vaccination centre.

In my work I lead change programmes for a large education charity, and I hope that will bring transferable skills in planning and delivery of improvements.

Ealing is blessed with green spaces which has made it a great place to bring up my family, and should I be elected my priorities would be to protect and nurture our local environment, promote energy efficiency, and with my background in education to ensure that the council delivers on its support for local schools, especially in areas such as SEND.
