In Andrew's own words

I have lived in this part of west London for forty years, moving to the Hounslow part of Chiswick in 1984. My wife and I moved to Ealing twenty years later. My work career has been largely retail and/or book related. Currently I work for an international charity and manage a part time a second hand bookshop.

First elected in 2010 for Southfield Ward, after standing as a candidate previously in Ealing and Hounslow. For the past fourteen years, local government has been through hard times financially, despite having increased responsibilities. Sadly that is not likely to change anytime soon. But being a Councillor is interesting and one still gets a buzz from helping residents, especially if you can make a genuine difference.
