In Laura's own words

I have lived in Ealing for just over 3 years and have always loved the diversity of the borough, both of the environment and also of the community.

I am passionate about human rights and have volunteered in my spare time with refugees and asylum seekers for the last ten years.

I joined the Green Party because I found hope in its values after years of watching and feeling our society being let down time and time again by the government. It’s time for a return to basics – what does this community need to thrive? How can everyone feel a part of it? And how can we make it happen?

Green Party values have answers where others have offered platitudes and promised change which never arrived.

I will listen to the members of this community and be a force for action, representing those who need their voices to be heard and acting in the best interests of the community as a whole.

I believe in making hope normal again. Hope for a safe, affordable place to live, the ability to provide for our families and the hope of a better future for those who come after us. This is what I stand for.
